Serge Lutens

Serge Lutens is a French aesthete — photographer, make-up artist and fragrance author — who built one of the most distinctive niche brands. He became known for an olfactory aesthetic of the Middle East and spices; his debut Nombre Noir (for Shiseido) and Féminité du Bois became cult classics. His perfumes are largely composed in a long collaboration with perfumer Christopher Sheldrake.
