Perfumer · 2 fragrances in catalog
Josephine Catapano was an American perfumer and one of the few women to win recognition in the field in the mid-20th century. Working at the firm that later became IFF, she created two landmark scents: the rich Youth Dew for Estée Lauder (1953) and the green-floral Fidji for Guy Laroche (1966). At IFF she mentored a young Sophia Grojsman.
