Jacques Polge is a French perfumer who, for nearly four decades (1978–2015), was Chanel's in-house nose and keeper of the house's heritage. He created classics such as Antaeus, Coco, Égoïste, Allure and Coco Mademoiselle, and stewarded the legendary No.5. In 2015 he handed the role to his son, Olivier Polge.
